Today, Phoenix Children’s is the third largest children’s hospital in the country and provides specialty and sub-specialty inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care to children and families in Arizona and throughout the Southwest. Phoenix Children’s Hospital is home to Arizona’s only Level 1 Trauma Center exclusively for children. It is the state’s premier site for the evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and care of children who have experienced a traumatic injury.

Children’s Hospital Colorado provides care of children and teens in a state-of-the-art medical center, which opened in 2007. Children’s Colorado is the Rocky Mountain region’s only Level 1 Regional Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center serving Colorado and seven other states. The hospital was just ranked as one of the Top 5 Best Children’s Hospitals in the Nation by U.S. News & World Report 2015-2016 Honor Roll, has received recognition for excellence in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program, and has won the 2015 American Hospital Association – McKesson Quest for Quality Prize.
