Overview and Target Audience

The Western Pediatric Trauma Conference will take place July 12-14, 2017 at The Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, CA.

Healthcare providers from all disciplines are invited to submit scientific or best practice abstracts. Podium and poster presentations will be selected from each abstract category.

The 2017 Western Pediatric Trauma Conference features nationally renowned faculty in the fields of pediatric trauma, pediatric surgical sub-specialties, critical care, emergency medicine, and pre-hospital care. The program content is targeted to physicians and healthcare professionals who care for injured children.

Course Objectives
  • Evaluate innovative management techniques of both common and unusual trauma cases
  • Apply evidenced-based medicine to trauma care
